Monthly Programming

Our chapter is proud to schedule a variety of events on a regular basis. Here is a breakdown of the different kinds of monthly programming that we prepare for our members:

Professional Development

One of YNPN Cleveland’s chief goals is to connect and cultivate future leaders in the nonprofit community by engaging with young professionals through their career development.

Our professional development events are a perfect way to learn something new and get involved with our chapter on a fundamental level. We create these events focused around you – what you need, want and have an interest in when it comes to your place in the Cleveland community and your workplace.

Notable professional development programs include: expert-led discussions, peer-led discussions, career service centers and events. Our events not only allow you to meet new people, but also learn new skills and give back to local agencies through volunteering.

Members attend events with friends, co-workers, or on their own; no matter who you show up with, you leave with new friends and professional contacts.

New to YNPN? Come to a professional development event and get to know us!

Networking and Social Events

Looking to meet some like-minded peers? Our networking and social events are the place for you. These events take many forms – happy hours, self-care events, and much more. Sometimes our social events center around a fun activity or learning a new skill. Above all, these events are fun, informal, and help you to easily meet new people!

Join us for our next volunteering event and help support a great cause! We enjoy partnering with local nonprofits and volunteering on a project or task as a group. At the same time, we’ll learn more about the nonprofit and their impact on the community.

Open Meetings

YNPN Cleveland regularly holds open meetings at local nonprofit organizations. Each meeting explores the mission of the nonprofit and its valuable contributions to the city of Cleveland. Open meetings can include private tours, guest speakers, and other informational offerings, and are usually free for both members and non-members to learn more about the many different nonprofits in our community.
